Description: The Japanese hori-hori is becoming well known in the United States due to its many uses in the garden. Hori-hori, which means "small digging tool" are marvelous for digging deep rooted weeks, planting bulbs, and bedding plants. The saw teeth will cut through tough roots and branches. The front of the tool is shaped like a shovel for digging efficiency. The back is beveled for easy sharpening.
Each of our hori-hori is forged from high carbon tool steel and tempered for heavy duty use. The red beech handle is riveted to the blade. A scabbard with belt loop is included.
