Description: Mike Mooney's knives are equally as at home in a collection as out in the field. The blade is CPM S30V stainless steel and was hardened by Paul Bos to Rc59.5. A cryogenic heat treatment assures a keen, long lasting edge. Mike has meticulously hand satin finished the blade. The handles are stabilized spalted makore wood and have a dramatic, and elegant grain pattern. The stabilized wood combines the beauty of natural wood with the brawn of synthetics. A full tang assures strong construction. Mosaic pins finish out the handle. Excellent fit and finish throughout. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
