Description: This elegant bowl, designed and constructed by Michael Rader and Kim Buzatu (the soon-to-be Kim Rader) allows the excellence of Michael's woodwork to step out of the customary supporting role it plays on his knives and be the focus of this charming piece.
The bowl is primarily intended for fruit and works equally well as a part of a decorative centerpiece or for candy or nuts. The woodwork is flawless and each section is perfectly joined. Sections of cherry and Peruvian walnut were chosen for their fine grain and high contrast.
The bowl stands 8 inches tall and 5-1/2 inches in diameter at the top lip. To maintain the finish, rub occasionally with camellia oil. Extreme changes in temperature and humidity affect wood. Display away from direct heat and sunlight in a well-ventilated spot. Not designed for dishwasher use.
