This chef's knife is likely to become the primary knife used in your kitchen. The sleek blade provides plenty of finger clearance while being extremely dexterous. The blade has a perfect shape for an efficient rocking chop. Whether chopping onions, mincing garlic, or slicing meats, this knife will be a perfect choice. This chef's knife is sure to become a kitchen favorite.
Andrew hand forged the 52100 carbon steel blade. Many knife makers and knife users include 52100 carbon steel among their favorite steels. 52100 takes on a superior cutting edge that just won't quit. The spine and choil are nicely rounded for comfort. The blade is beautifully thin for high performance cuts. His touchmark is on the left side of the blade and his M.S. mark is on the right side. Because the blade is forged from carbon steel, we recommend using camellia oil to protect the blade from rust.
The Japanese-inspired oval handle is dyed and stabilized maple burl. The ambidextrous handle is lightweight and provides a comfortable grip. The front of the handle is sealed with a black Micarta bolster. Like other knives, this knife should not be put in the dishwasher.
This is sure to become a go-to knife in the kitchen!
