Description: Handmade by Jim Arbuckle, this 11 inch bread knife is an excellent choice for the chef that wants a knife that is as attractive as it is useful. This piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind - there's not another one like it in the world!
Whether you prefer a rustic, crusty bread or a soft and tender loaf, this 11 inch bread knife will cut through easily to give you the perfect slice of bread every time. The blade combines large and smaller serrations for a smoother, cleaner slice. These aren't jagged little teeth that chew through your bread. These are razor-sharp serrations that will glide through the bread with ease.
The blade is high performing, low care 154CM stainless steel and has an heirloom quality hand-rubbed satin finish. It was hardened and triple tempered to Rc 59-60 for excellent edge retention. The distal tapered blade is convex ground and provides a durable chip-resistant edge.
Bocote handle scales are set on the full tang for strength and durability. It features modified bamboo filework between the grips, which has been filled with black epoxy and polished. This gives the beauty of filework without the hassle of cleaning food particles out of it. A deep finger cutout for easy control when holding the knife in a pinch grip.
