This high performance chef's knife is a perfect choice as a primary knife in the kitchen. The 8-1/4 inch blade is easily controlled, while the tall blade gives plenty of finger clearance over a cutting board. From chopping to slicing, this will be your go-to knife.
The blade is hand forged from 80CrV2 carbon steel. This high performing carbon steel holds a razor sharp edge and remains highly chip resistant. An antiqued finish helps protect the knife from rust. The spine and choil have been nicely rounded for comfort.
The handle is black ash burl. By stabilizing the natural wood, Maybry ensurs this knife will hold up very well to the harsh demands of either a home or professional kitchen. Handle scales are secured to the full tang using two bronze pins. The scales are domed for a comfortable, secure grip. Like other knives, this knife should not be put in the dishwasher.
