Description: Aaron Wilburn, a long time maker of knives for the outdoor enthusiast, has expanded his focus to include culinary knives - creating high-performing kitchen workhorses! This utility knife is a perfect choice for detail tasks. It is a good middle ground between a slicing knife and a paring knife and is a good choice when slicing tomatoes or chopping garlic. The slender blade combines control and precision. This will definitely become a "go-to" knife!
The 4.9 inch blade has a perfect shape. The feather pattern damascus blade was forged to shape. A triple quench and triple temper are combined with a cryogenic heat treatment for optimal edge holding.
The handle is contoured comfortably for a sturdy grip in the hand. Presentation grade curly koa scales, in caramel and honey tones, are set on a full tang and fit perfectly to the nickel silver bolster. The stabilized scales will hold up well to the heavy demands of either a professional or home kitchen. The handle is completed with hand domed nickel silver pins. Excellent fit and finish throughout!
