Few kitchen knives are as fun to use - given you're careful! it's so sharp it makes quick work out of slow precision-oriented tasks. It's well balanced, the blade is thin enough to move through vegetables easily but strong and heavy enough to be of substance. I'd love a whole set of these…

I've had this knife for a few weeks, and I can honestly say it's performance is as striking as its beauty. Turns herbs into confetti, and can cut cleanly through a carrot without that "tearing" sound. Shallots and garlic can get sliced extremely thin. Light, and very well balanced. The handle is comfortable and allows for great control-the knife feels perfect in a pinch grip.
The lightness leads me to my only possible drawback - I find it a little too light for working with meat in some instances, and personally prefer something with a little more weight for the hard jobs. Just a matter of preference, though.
I'd recommend this if you want a great knife that also looks like a piece of art. I'm very satisfied with it.

With an affordable price this beautiful stainless steel san mai damascus is beautifully figured. Better still, it out cuts my Western Wusthof and Sabatier knives. It is truly a very georgous and functonal tool.
